I’m all for respecting each and every opponent and our players and coaches surely will do so. However, I’m so tired of hearing about how improved they are. They are absolutely no different than they’ve been. Exactly like they were a year ago. Lose to Nicholls St. @ home and win one conference home game, TCU. This year it’s Coastal Carolina @ home and Tech in conference play. That’s it. They won’t beat us, they won’t win on the road at Stillwater or Ames, and they won’t beat Baylor in Lawrence. This will make the 11th straight year, yes the 11th straight year they have won zero or 1 conference games. Get your mind around that....... they haven’t won 2 or more conference football games in the same season since 2008. Ironically, also the last time they won a conference road game. They beat a 3-5 tech team and all I’m hearing from ku people is look out. It’s a reminder of when a ku playing partner in golf said he was playing a Titleist “14” ball last year. I asked, what’s with the 14? He was quick to reply that it was for their 14 straight basketball conference titles. A KSU friend also playing looked at me and said, “and they wonder why buddy, and they wonder why.” The guy goes “what?? What did I say?” It’s why we cannot stand them and why our team and coaches will be prepared and ready to kick their arrogant asses Saturday.
