Didn't see this posted in prior threads so if it's a repeat my apologies.....heard on believe it was 810 on Saturday morning where there was a piece that was done comparing the number of players that foul out at their respective home courts vs. all others in the Big 12 and elsewhere. It was mind boggling.

KU has had 1 player....1 that has fouled out at home in the last 5 years. That was Kelly Oubre against WVU so if it weren't for that game we would be going on 6 years with zero.

Conversely KSU has had 19, ISU around 16 and balance of the Big 12 somewhere in that 18-25 range.

Naionally Duke and UNC were around 15.

It's a differential that doesn't exist ANYWHERE else in the country for that long a timeframe.

Thought whoever did the piece did some great research and called something into question that deserves to be looked at A LOT closer. Clearly if you win your home court, it goes a long way to winning a championship in the Big 12. Steal a couple on the road and that is KU's formula for 11 in a row. A lot of Squawk callers defending Self and his masterful coaching to explain the discrepancy. No doubt Self has great coaching chops but this goes beyond that. Hearing more noise about KU's ability to get calls at an even national level so hopefully the playing field will start to level soon in that regard. Would also explain how KU typically is an early exit in the NCAA Tournament when refs are the least bias to any team or conference and can call the game as it should be called.
