John Kirby:

-Ever seen anything like ending of game? No. Never. I think he thought ref was teammate.

-How do you think KU matches up against K-State? Skill and speed positions....definite edge to KU. I've seen enough of both to say this unequivocally. On the OL and DL, K-State has the advantage. I think KU will have to gamble and load the box and try to stop the run. They've done this fairly successful last couple years. I think they'll have to do the same.

-KU's offense....why the sudden change? OC brings energy and an edge. He's young. Kids relate to him. Also, he's changed up play calling. Scheme is basically the same....play calling more imaginative. He's young and creative.

-How are Jayhawks physically? KU is healthy. Nobody on offense is out. Drew Prox is out on defense.....but he's been out now for around 4 weeks.

-How big a loss is Prox given he's best run stopper? It's big. K-State still has that run game. LB play will be very critical. They do unique things you don't see very much.

-How do you see it playing out? KU has to get off the field on 3rd down. Ku hasn't been good at that. On offense, KU is going to have to get the ball out in space. Pooka and others. Use that advantage. Higher the score, the better chance KU has to win.

Matt Walters:

-What was your gut telling you during the review? $20 million dollars and a spot in college playoffs.

-K-State dominated OU....with run game. What was the difference? Probably just more familiarity with the new system. Execution was great. OU got tired of being hit in the mouth. Offense was just diverse enough to keep things interesting.

-Will injuries effect K-State tomorrow? Brown and Gilbert are banged up. I think Gilbert will be fine....Brown game-time decision.

-What are you expecting tomorrow? Could very well be in the 30's to 30's. KU now believes...which isn't something they've had in the past. K-State should be able to run the ball....but KU will pull out all the stops. It's been very one-sided, but this is one of the biggest ku/K-State games in a long time.

Lee Sterling Prediction (after raving about K-State dominating OU): KU winnning 38-34.
