I love this class on paper. It’s solid and, under normal circumstances, I think it would be one we all remembered by the end for good reasons.
But…
The portal and cash deals … I understand and even agree with them. But, I can do that and still feel irritated at how they have decimated my ability to feel loyalty to anything more than the KSU roster at opening kickoff (until the first transfers are announced).
I can’t get excited about the rest of the year. Not recruiting, not signing day, not building, not “down the road” or “in a few years”… nothing. There’s nothing holding those things I enjoy in place… other than luck.
Again, I’m all for the players and getting what they should get. But at this moment…
