Maybe I just reached a boiling point I didn't know I had, but I nearly threw a meat tenderizer through my TV at the end of that shjtty, shitty Minnesota/Detroit game.
Two teams full of highly paid players and the coaches are too petrified to ever go for it on fourth down or throw past 10 yards and we end up with these mind-numbing kicker battles.
Can we come up with some better ways to decide games? The following are in no particular order, just some ideas I heard on the radio and from others:
* Once you cross the 30, must go for it on 4th down.
* No extra point, must always go for two.
* 20 yd PAT for 1, 30 yd PAT for 2 points, 40 yd PAT for 3 ...
* One land mine/hidden spring board placed randomly in the field per game.

Anyone have any other ideas for ending these obscene field goal battles?
