And last night was certainly the case. The boys were just one or two daggum plays away from pulling off the upset (in the game we were actually favored in) and we should absolutely be satisfied with this moral victory. Because, if there's one thing we know about this program under Bruce is that we always build on close losses to good teams early in the season!
Our versatile roster was on full display as we essentially played 4 on 5 with super soph Dean Wade on the floor and this is definitely a game that the cashiers at Panera will be buzzing about.
Like I always tell my third grade basketball team, it's all about doing your best and having fun out there.
