I heard today, on wichita sports radio, about how young the royals are.. and how "set up" they are for the future
but get this... the royals are the 4th oldest roster in baseball.... and while some of the pitchers are bringing the age up, it's also a by-product of what is actually a relatively high-aged core of players

Further, the arbitration battles the royals face over the next couple of years is potentially epic.. especially considering how little players like hosmer and moose have accomplished in 3 years to give the royals the opportunity to pay to stay away from arbitration
