Has there ever been talk of having a local network affiliate news station in Manhattan?
You could argue that Topeka is only a short distance away, but then why does Lawrence have one?
KC should have the Lawrence market adequately covered.
And with Fort Riley, NBAF, K-State, etc., there should be plenty of stories to cover.
Just wondering if anyone has ever heard anything or has any insight on this. Think it would be positive for the university and town in general.
I think maybe KSN was nesting at the GPC headquarters for awhile, but I don't see that any longer.
