I was referred to by many as an idiot for daring to make the comparison to Tim Tibesar. Multiple mods on this board said the comparison was not even close.
Through 12 games in 2007 Tim Tibesar's defense gave up 5.48 yards per play and 30 points per game......and that included a game we gave up 73 points. So far this year through 8 games we are giving up 6 yards per play and over 29 points per game..........with both of those numbers getting worse after today (AND THAT INCLUDES A SHUT OUT AND A 3 POINT PERFORMANCE).
At the very least.....and I mean at the very least this season is equally as bad as what Tibs put out there but I would argue it is worse. Tibs didn't have a ball control offense shielding his defense. Prince scored a lot and scored fast and didn't protect him. We have gone out of our way to protect Hayes and he still has put together a worse statistical season.
The only difference between the 2 is that in 2007 it was universally accepted to trash Tibesar and demand he be fired or else Prince be fired. But if you say that about Tom Hayes and Snyder......you are just a hater.
