I really have to think that he plans to play a lot of true FR his first few years here. If a you stack a bunch of guys at one position in the same class, then the only way to get the kind of balance between classes that you want is to stagger them out some, i.e., you sign 3 DEs, 2 redshirt and one plays as True FR, hence they are now split into different classes. I don't have a problem with this approach as it really pays dividends 3-4 seasons down the line, but for some positions, I'm just surprised we are not looking for more transfers given the low numbers we have of SOs and JRs. I am not talking about signing 10 jucos, I am talking about finding some D1 transfers who can sit out a year and then be ready to go immediately in 2020 (because they had a whole sit-out year to learn the system).
