next weeks game......at least....... it seems.....
No word from any staffer... but his father tweeted out "no surgery he's fine, will be back".......
But Nic's (the backup) GF said he was told he was starting against KSU..... so there you go.
Hearing from some that it was a "shoulder separation" but no damage... so basically it "popped out, then back in".... just going to be real real sore... and they are going to take their time because once it happens, it can happen again really easy i am told.
this sucks for him.... but at least it is early in the season and he has a couple of weeks before the real meat of the schedule comes in.
the bigger issue is the new backup role.... True Freshmman had been redshirted and KK REALLY doesn't want to burn it.... there are 2 awlk-ons that are at the simulator today (usually a day off after a game) getting ready for KSU.... we will see.
Nic is 6'3 220, just 10 pounds lighter than PM2, and the same height. He does not run near as well, but his foot work is much better in the pocket. He started for Iowa as a Freshmen before transferring to TTU.... KK thinkings that like the other QB's that left TTU, he could easily start for most programs in the country.
