Curious of people who follow it more closely than I do - does Loyola-Chicago need to win the Missouri Valley Tourney to get a bid? See Lunardi has them as a 12 seed which would imply to me that they would be out without the automatic bid, but their RPI is 31 and Pomeroy has them at 44, both of which are ahead of us. Seeing them play UNI in a close game made me wonder, could obviously affect our chances if they got a bid in front of us.
As a side note, Loyola has two starters from Blue Valley NW, including Clayton Custer, who transferred from Iowa St. If memory serves, when he was an underclassmen in HS he was thought to be a major prospect and we recruited heavily at that time.
