Our guys don't go out and make plays. They pass up open shots and driving lanes waiting for the next pass to come open. THAT'S WHAT THEY ARE COACHED TO DO.
I may be oversimplifying it, but our offense looks so terrible because guys are so caught up in running the plays vs just playing basketball.
