in Kellis's game day article today he wrote that Isaiah Maurice was ruled academically ineligible before the season. Is that correct ? I thought that when the season began he was still awaiting confirmation as to whether he was eligible or not. I never read anywhere that the clearing house had made a ruling. But would seem odd that they would rule him ineligible and he could still be on the team. If he were ineligible coming out of high school why would he not have to go to a Juco or prep school before enrolling to play at KState?
