Assuming K-State's bubble doesn't burst (every bracketologist I've seen has the Wildcats in), looks like we're down to about four teams that would be opponents for the play-in game.

Rhode Island
Wake Forest
USC
Syracuse

If Rhode Island were to take down VCU in good fashion today, perhaps they'd move out of the play-in and Xavier or Marquette would drop down but that's not all that likely (even with a win).

Thoughts on these potential adversaries?

Personally, I don't think there's any doubt that the most favorable match-up for K-State would be USC. Nothing about them is all that scary.

On the other end, regardless of how they compare to Orange teams of the past, there's nothing about Syracuse and their zone I'd like to see again if I'm K-State. Likewise, Wake Forest has a dangerous offense and Rhode Island has a few really special players in Martin, Matthews, and Terrell who (when playing well -- like they are right now) can be a mess to handle.

I'd probably say the teams I would prefer in order would be USC, Rhode Island, Wake Forest, Syracuse.
