Edit: 8/18 major statement from Big 10 commish
Dan Patrick just said on his show that NBC will make the Big 10 an offer they can’t refuse that will dictate Notre Dame + 1 to the Big 10, with the goal to permanently move one game every Saturday night to premiere status like their Sunday night football game along with an afternoon Notre Dame/ other premier game
The goal isn’t to snuff out Fox on NBC’s end just grab the remaining rights and structure it around Notre Dame
his sources are usually pretty decent and he doesn’t run with stuff just to grab headlines so I’m leaning towards buying that
other notes:
SEC favors Clemson, FSU and Miami as opposed to the Southern Ivies (UNc/UVA) whenever the ACC stuff shakes out (he’s not saying that happens now)
