which means anyone who isn't yet in his 60's. And I'd appreciate a real answer -- not just someone calling me an old fart who doesn't understand young people -- because I already know that. Went to see Garth last night at Sprint Center and had a great time. He came on at 9:00 and eventually did about 40 minutes of encores lasting until midnight. The concert started at 7:30, so there was 4.5 hours of performance.
In those 4.5 hours virtually every female -- and a lot of guys -- spent virtually every minute on their phone. OK -- not most of the girls up by the stage and not my wife -- but everyone else. What the hell are they doing? I mean seriously, what are they doing? It has to be an addiction of some kind. LIke alcohol or drugs. They're texting? Who are they texting for 4.5 hours that is so important to them, yet they didn't go to the concert with them or they're not sitting with them? Not one female in a group of 20,000 people is sitting next to their best friend who they can simply turn and talk to so they have to text them?
