The cement I stand on in the NEZ is level with the seat in the below row. However, there is about a 7 inch gap between the cement and the seat below. As we were standing getting our cushions on our seats, I stepped through the gap and my leg went down about 15 inches to the row below. My total body weight was on that leg that went down. Fortunately, I went straight down with the cement on one side and the seat on the other side and I was not hurt at all. I feel like if I had gone down at any angle, I would have broken a few bones. I am retired now and getting a little up in age, but did anyone else have a concern with this? Also to walk from your seat to the aisle you almost have to walk with one foot walking on the seat in front.
