So what is everyone's thoughts on non-competes? I just got a written job offer and somewhat unexpectedly a non compete was attached to it. It is for a year and is for the 4 major competitors. Caught me by surprise and not quite sure how I feel about it.
The position is in sales so I can see why they wouldn't want me going to a direct competitor but still, kinda sketched out by it.
