Right O-Tackle: Frantz (293)
Right Guard: Johnson (312)
Center: Risner (300)
Left Guard: Ash (314)
Left O-Tackle: Matthews (340)

Najvar and/or Brager could unseat Johnson and/or Ash.
I give Johnson & Ash the advantage based on playing experience.

Breontae Matthews will likely fill one of the most concerning voids left by last year’s team = replacing Whitehair at left tackle. Perhaps the best news all summer from a K-State football standpoint was hearing that Matthews arrived in Manhattan in pretty good shape. He was able to hit the floor running for the most part (big plus).

If I’m not mistaken, Frantz and Beecham started the spring game for the purple at the O-tackle spot. Frantz appears to be an up & comer (received props from Whitehair).
Beecham has the advantage of being on board for Spring ball, but I still believe Matthews will knock Beecham (or Frantz) out of the starting line-up.

Who knows, maybe one of these young guys will surprise us at O-tackle this fall.
Tyler Mitchell – 6’4” 301
Glen Williams – 6’6” 320
Evan Curl – 6’5” 280
Alec Ruth – 6’7” 300
Bryce Fitzner – 6’7” 291
Nich Kaltmayer – 6’7” 280 (transfer from FCS school, Western Illinois).
