Dave Lewis, the former K-State football PA announcer and host of the KMAN Morning Show, announced on Facebook earlier this week that he is retiring from radio.

Here's the retirement announcement he made via Facebook:

"I made the announcement this morning....
This Friday (3/11) is my last day on KMAN Radio. As many of you know, I'm an entrepreneur, and my latest venture, Ad Astra Cast, a podcast production studio, is growing rapidly and requires more of my attention. I'm also getting more calls for hosting game shows, weddings, special events and fundraisers. My schedule has become more and more challenging.
And I won't have to get up at O Dark Thirty anymore!
I love radio and this community. I will always be grateful to Richard Wartell and Corey Dean Reeves for the opportunities they've given me.
Over 30 years in radio. So many memories. So many friends.
Forever grateful."
