Just moved to Panorama Village - a golf course community north of Houston. Finally went out to play today and got paired with an older gentleman. Started talking with him and he starts talking about being an All-American from K State back in the 50s and playing for Tex Winter. Turns out it was Roy DeWitz - had heard that name before but had to look him up after we finished playing. Needless to say he had some pretty cool stories and it was an entertaining afternoon. And at 85 he can still hit it pretty well! That’s it’s - just wanted to share in case any of you know Roy or know more about him than I did before today.
