Because the football/basketball offseason is long, hot, and boring, I'm going to post a stupid poll or two every Thursday or Friday.
So, what is your preferred cheap domestic tailgate light beer? The criteria here is that it can't be an import (Heineken, Stella, Dos Equis, etc) or a premium/craft (Boulevard, Sam Adams, Tallgrass, etc), and the beer brand must think of itself as a light beer (for instance, even if you think that regular Budweiser is a light beer, the brand itself does not bill itself that way). Additionally, the beer must be readily available in cans.
My toughest omission here was MGD Light, which is one of my favorite light beers. I feel like I don't see it in cans much and I don't think I've ever seen it at a tailgate. The other cheap domestic light beer that I like a lot, but I just don't see that much anymore, especially in cans, is Michelob Light. Feel free to vote for either of those (and any other qualified cheap domestic light beer) by selecting "Other" and naming the beer in reply.
