Let's say HCBS comes back next year. I think the one thing that would "calm the waters" is an announced succession plan.
I know it's rare, but coaches that mean so much to their program that they become synonymous with it are also rare, Paterno, Bowden, Snyder all coached at one place long enough that they fit this.
I would rather the HCIW wasn't Sean but I think it would make the fans comfortable to know what the plan was, and improve recruiting.
You know every school we recruit against is telling recruits they shouldn't sign with KSU because who know who their coach will be in a year or two.
