Ok, need some recommendations because all of my google research leaves me undecided. The question is, if I want to get a new gaming console (PS4 vs Xbox One) for Christmas, which should I get?

- Have always had some kind of gaming system for about 35 years. Have been mostly a "Sony-guy" and "Wii-guy" for the past 15 years. Have never had any Xbox model.
- I usually like sports games and first-person shooters, but like a variety of intriguing games.
- I'm not a huge online gamer (usually get my butt kicked when I try), but I will do it from time to time.
- Have two daughters (teens) who aren't super-gamers, but do like various games like Raving Rabids (Wii), Minecraft, or other "puzzle-like" games.
- Don't really "need" a gaming system for the "apps", such as Netflix/Amazon/etc. as I already have a Roku, Apple TV, and Kindle Fire Stick.
- Probably would only spend 2-4 hours per week myself doing gaming. Kids might spend the same.
- If the gaming system has features/games to play more as a family, that would be great.
