I think it would be awesome if the whole power 5, or top 64 teams got ranked 1 through 64 and then did a multiple year tournament. 1 would play 64, 2 would play 63, and so on. All on the same weekend in the nonconference part of the season. Then the tournament would go on for 6 years, playing it all out for each team all the way. It would have a winner's bracket and losers bracket. The team that lost all 6 games would be ranked 64 after the 6 years and it could start over. Would just be something else to play for and a fun way to schedule good games. Obviously player and coach turnover would make it different each year but also interesting. I know it would never happen, just sounds like a good way to add some meaningful games 1 weekend in the non conference.
