The Big 12 had a devastating weekend. OU got demolished, and the game wasn't as close as the score. Texas choking hard at Cal was also bad. Those are our two premiere brands so we need them to not suck. The gap between the Big 12 and the other power conferences is pretty much insurmountable now. Unless WVU goes undefeated or something, I think the Big 12 has already been knocked out of the playoffs and it's still only mid-Sept. Ugh.

Despite Iowa's blunder, the Big Ten's weekend was spectactular. Wins vs OU, ND, Oregon and others pushed them into the top spot. The trio of Ohio St, Mich St and Mich is incredible for one division.

The SEC didn't do anything bad, but they didn't do anything great either. They are already in the midst of conference season so there wasn't much in the way of new info to use for the rankings.

The ACC's top dog got humiliated on national tv to start the day. It doesn't matter what else happened during the day. That's the only thing people saw when they looked at the ACC.

With wins vs KSU, TT and UT, it is undeniable that the PAC 12 is not the worst. They don't look great but they aren't as bad as our league. Stanford is likely a top ten team. Washington is a complete unknown but the pollsters like them. Everyone else looks pretty meh.
