To do this, I counted wins and losses vs other P5 conferences, losses to G5/FCS teams, and close calls to G5/FCS teams (final is within one score).
Thru week 2
#1 SEC: 5-4 vs P5 conferences, 2 G5 losses and 3 close calls
#2 ACC: 4-3 vs P5 conferences, 2 G5 losses and 2 close calls
#3 B1G: 3-3 vs P5 conferences, 3 G5 losses and 0 close calls
#4 P12: 4-3 vs P5 conferences, 4 G5 losses and 1 close call
#5 B12: 2-4 vs P5 conferences, 4 G5 losses and 0 close calls
The Big 12 is in last by a comfortable margin. There are only a few opportunities left to make some noise: OU/tOSU, UT/Cal, OSU/Pitt... We pretty much need a clean sweep. We also need to minimize any more bad losses (TT/La Tech, WVU/BYU, KU/Mem, ISU/SJSt). I don't know if we can do enough to move out of last, but we could try to avoid embarassing ourselves.
The SEC still has: 5 vs ACC
The ACC has a ton of opportunities: ND x5, SEC x5, and Indiana, Nwestern, Ok St
The B1G still has games against Colorado, OU, ND, Oregon, Duke, Wake.
The P12 still has games against UT, Neb, ND x2, Mich.
