1) SEC
They continue their reign as top dog. The league is 5-2 against other P5 teams. They have two bad losses (Western Kentucky and Toledo) and five close calls (UL-Lafayette, Jacksonville St, Arkansas St, East Carolina and UConn). Much of their non-con work is still pending with notable games remaining vs FSU, GaTech, Clemson and Louisville, and possibly an interesting one vs La Tech, plus a bunch of patsy teams.

2) Big Ten
They capture the second spot due largely to the quantity of games vs P5 teams. They are 9-8 vs P5 schools, with five bad losses (Temple, BYU, Marshall, and BGSU x2), and nine close calls (So Ill, Col St, Kent St, No Ill, WKU, USM, Ohio, and MTSU). Their non-con resume is essentially complete with only a couple of games vs Army remaining.

3) Big 12
A pretty quiet non-con this year. 4-4 vs P5 schools, three bad losses by the dregs of the conf (So Dakota St, Memphis and Toledo), and one close call (La Tech). All non-con games are complete, so the resume has been finalized.

4) PAC 12
Like the Big 12, they are 4-4 vs P5 schools, with three bad losses (Hawaii, Boise and Portland St) and two close calls (Col St and BYU). They have the chance to overtake the Big 12 because they have two non-con games remaining, both vs Notre Dame.

5) ACC
These guys are struggling. They are 3-10 vs P5 schools, with three bad losses (Houston, Boise, East Carolina) and five close calls (Youngstown St, Army, Cent Mich, Will & Mary, No Ill). They do have a bunch of opportunities remaining with four games vs Notre Dame, plus Florida, UGA, Kentucky and South Carolina. However, I think their place in the cellar has been solidified.
