Bruce needs to recruit better (obviously), but @jarjarbinks18 brought up the point to me that the best Bruce has done recruiting-wise (according to rankings - not actual production) is two top 150 players in Dean Wade and Xavier Sneed. To that end, the best Bruce's recruiting at KSU has yielded is a 9 seed in the tournament.
My counterpoint (probably a poor one because I am not as smart as him lol) is that the program is in a much better place now than when Dean, Barry, and Kam were forced to take over as frosh. So I decided to take a look at the rosters and who returned each year....
Is this roster in a better position now than it was when Dean, Barry, and Kam got here? Does that trump the NEED to get top 150 players regularly? Is the return on investment in regards to recruiting as big of a deal now as it was a few years ago?
