So many of you all are responding out of anger instead of looking at it in a different way.
KSU will be just fine. Yeah, we lost to a very good Tech team. We lost it in second half. But I'm not real concern. We're in decent shape, except I absolutely hate the noncon slate we put together.
Anyhow, too much depression on this board. Look at standings and where KSU is at, 4th. Now, look at remaining games. KSU plays it's final 6 against teams BELOW them!!! Yes, I understand some want to argue this but don't worry, KSU is NOT going 0-6, 1-5 or 2-4 in that stretch.
Now look at standings again. FOUR (4) of our conference teams BELOW us are 5-7 with 6 to go. ALL have to play top 3 teams and look at their schedules. People do you realize that AT LEAST 3 of those teams are likely to finish with 10 or 11 losses?
What so many on this board do not understand is the Big 12 is really down this year and now by looking at standings this conference is on verge of maybe getting just FIVE (5) teams in tournament, if lucky. That's the bigger issue. I believe KSU will be one of those but likely a bubble team again. This league is not good and at least 4 teams below us WILL finish with 10 losses!!!
In short, save yourself some grief and let this thing play out.
And one more thing, while I'm not a fan of Weber and I like him fired, the threads about GT decision coming ain't happening. Weber will be back next season. So save yourself time complaining about he must be fired. GT will not fire him this year. He sees the standings. He sees that a crappy Big 12 is helping Weber. He sees our remaining schedule. He knows 4th is a REAL possibility for this year Weber team. All you have to do is look at final games of teams BELOW us. Some fan bases are crapping in their pants WAY more than our base should be!!! Hell, Big 12 has a serious problem now and Selection Sunday might not be pretty for anyone in the conference. I say we get only 5 bids.
