Too long for me to cut and paste here, but The Athletic (yeah, I know....) posted a feature piece on the status of junior's shit-show of a football program. Started with the near-Harbaugh hire and works its way downward.
Blames administration more than anything - Perkins feud with Mangino and ultimately his hiring of Gill allegedly started the Titanic sinking, and further blamed its chancellor, Bernadette Gray-Little, for cutting the athletics budget for buyouts. Finally getting to Long for his Miles hire and the issues surrounding that. Even Sheahon Zenger didn't avoid the microscope, since he hired front-butt.
Funny story - after Weis' first season, one of the assistant coaches approaches Zenger and told him the program felt a lot like the early days of Bill Snyder at K-State.
