FootballScoop is reporting Van Malone will be joining the staff. Could be a replacement for Norwood since he is leaving.
Currently a senior defense analyst at Miss State. Former SMU DC and has coached DBs at Ok State, Tulsa, A&M, and UNT. Also coached at NDSU for a year in 2003. Assuming he brings Texas recruiting to the table and he has a nice resume. He's 48 and is from Houston. Played at UT and was a safety in the NFL for a few years.
