Our QB run game has always been of the sledgehammer variety. Runs mostly designed to go between the tackles.
With Colin Klein type runners maybe this made sense, but it doesn't with smaller QBs with slight builds like Waters, Ertz, Delton etc
We need to redesign our QB run game to be a scrambling option on passing plays, like A&M did with Manzel, and Russell Wilson with the Seahawks. Otherwise, we are misusing the talent we have to fit an inflexible offensive plan.
