At rhe beginning of the season, it appeared to me the royals had taken spring training off.
I felt that when they started "trying" again, they would be about 4 weeks behind the league.
At that time, it was not a talent issue...all the world series players were still here, basically..no zobrist or cueto but certainly the talent needed to get to the playoffs.
I said that they will need to be close at the all star break to make a run...which i knew they could do with those motivated players.
Then injuries came....moose, medlen,....
As i sit here right now, the climb in the division is 7 games and the wildcard is 3.5 games.
The next 14 games are huge..3 against cleveland 7 against the mighty rangers, and 3 against angels....1 more today against detroit.
I believe we will make a run at the division and be in the wildcard....who on earth would want to play the royals in a playoff?
So let's see if they make me a liar...14 games could decide the season!
