When I watched the game originally I was wondering why Shaw was so upset at the refs when he was forced to call timeout after they subbed late and we trotted a couple guys onto the field.
When I was re-watching I noticed that the guy that ran onto the field and into position really late was the receiver that had made the catch on the previous play. They broke the huddle with 10 guys and then realized he was not supposed to have come out and should have stayed on the field so he ran back on.
Should the refs had stopped the action to let us sub, when in reality their late substitution was not even a substitution at all?
