Months ago I mentioned that trump's taxes, conflicts of interest and Russian election ties weren't going away. It seems that with all of this going on the last thing trump would do is stir up more "stuff" by firing Comey. Some heavy hitting Repubs are now hinting about checking his business ties to Russia and China and wanting to see some tax returns, as well as appointing an independent investigation to look into election ties to Russia.
With Comey's firing, it is sure to keep the "Russian fire" burning.
