Brad Underwood and Brent Venables were born and raised in Kansas. They both played at KSU. They both coached at KSU. They have both been successful coaching elsewhere. And they both want to come back to KSU to coach again.
All Currie has to do is hire them. It would be a no lose situation for him. If they are both successful, coupled with the facilities he helped get built, Currie would be beloved forever here. Hell he may get a statue someday. And even if they both failed no one would blame Currie because 99.9% of ksu fans would love both hires.
Come on Currie! Please! Do what's right. Do what's easy. Do what's right in front of your face. Get Underwood here and then find a way to get Venables here when the time is right.
