Add a football-only member to replace them and negotiate a split of their current share of tier 1&2 TV revenue 50/50 or 70/30 or whatever they negotiate. It would be a lot less revenue, but without a football team to support, how much money do you really need? AND the donors could continue to throw millions at b-ball without having to pony up $200-300 million for a new football stadium. AND the humiliation stops, which I think is worth a lot to their collective inflated ego.
