A few take-aways:
- The team has some guards which is refreshing compared to last year
- Dean Wade had obvious first game jitters, but he is going to be solid as a freshman particularly on the offensive end
- Hurt played with more heart, but it was ESU, folks
- Wesley will stuff the stat sheet averaging 13-17 per game; he looks very good, long, athletic, bigger and called for the ball
- Edwards was kind of a "meh"
- Stokes, Ervin and Brown are refreshing newcomers
- Not sure why Freeman didn't play more; he's got some offense
- The shot clock was not a factor
- The crowd was smaller than tiny
- Royals score was not announced, no.
