One of the best advantages of having Bill Snyder as your coach on game day is his abilities as a play caller. It is clear to me that he has very limited to no input in offensive playcalling and it is a disaster. Dimel is defeated by his own self-imposed limitations on what he thinks the offense can run.
And yes I know playcalling is overrated... blah, blah, blah.
Are we only allowed to run 1 type of blitz and never disguise it? JFC... We should have multiple blitzes and be able to disguise every single one of them. Truly embarrassing.
Ball on your own 20, game tied, 1:41 to go in the game. And the coaches cannot decide what they want to do. Brought Ertz back in to run the ball???? Seems going for the win was not even an option, despite that it was clear we would not be able to stop Texas offense if the game got to overtime.
And no more GD apology letters, unless it is to apologize for not firing Dimel much sooner.
