This is a fascinating situation brewing in Lawrence. I can't remember any other P5 search happening this time of year.
From what I can glean, KU people think Leipold is just chomping at the bit to get the job, but I find that pretty hard to believe. I'd be pretty surprised if anyone other than Jones was HC for the '21 season. The only outside hire that I've seen tossed around that I think is realistic at this point is Kevin Kane.
