-When K-State gets the stop, very curious play call. What did you think? Cody plays QB a lot. They went back to the well, but didn't throw it away when should of. I don't have big problem....don't have a Tyler Lockett out there...what are you going to do. Don't have Jake Waters back there. Plus, time would have been big problem anyway.
-SJ: My problem isn't passing, it's that they (mainly Hubener) won't throw the ball away. Stan: Yeah, that kind of year. Very disappointing. Have to keep grinding. Has been a game of inches this year....and they've all been going against K-State this year.
-What can K-State take from the comeback? I think players gained confidence. Don't want to glorify a loss, especially at home, but with that OU route in that mix, there was doubt in the players. TX loss was more of a K-State issue....still OU hangover. I think last night left some positive feelings. Defense has to feel better with some of the stops they got.....offense racked up some yards so they probably feel better.....so hopefully OU disaster is put behind them.
-Now you've seen all the big boys (OU, Baylor, OSU, TCU)....who's best? OU is the best team.....but I'd give my vote to TCU because of one player, Boykin. Plus, TCU's defense is getting better every week.
-How did you think Baylor frosh look? Looked great with no adversity or pressure. The truth will come out when he throws his first interception. But, passes were flawlessly on target last night. When he has more of the down's vs. the up's, that's when we'll find out for sure.
-TCU is just so tested......not just this year, but over many years, their entire program is championship caliber.
