-Stan, ISU is desperate. How do you see this game? They are such a good bball team, but every team goes through a stretch where they start questioning themselves. ISU is in that stretch. Have lost 4 of 7 games, new coach, there's adversity and doubt creeps in.

-Even under Hoiberg, haven't had much luck in Manhattan.

-They are giving up over 80 points in conference games. That is a problem.

-They have very little depth. Nas Long was more athletic than anyone trying to replace him.

-How has K-State performed according to your expectations? At or above. I've seen it in their play, just not on scoreboard. They just needed a win to validate my thoughts and they got it against TT. They had nice performances, but like Weber said, they had to have a win. Have to feel good b/c they didn't lose their confidence.

-I think K-State's in a great place. I think they'll play well tomorrow and I think they'll be right there in the end. And, I think they got a stretch coming up that they can get to and hover around .500 in the league. If they can get ISU, their schedule gets a little better.

-Do you think WVU is a contender? Not as good as KU or OU, but with Huggins and his style, gives them edge and can be factor in this league. (but, he admits he wasn't at our WVU game and hasn't seen much of them).

-Thoughts on Chiefs? They definitely have great chance to win this game. I think Chiefs are better team, but not at neutral site.....and they've had an extra week. I think it's a dead toss-up. If I had to pick, would pick NE 27-24.
