1 game is a nightmare SSS scenario... but makes for a fun statistical breakdown
1. K-State ranks 1st in "yards per play"... in the country (never thought i'd say that with LHCBS)
2. that's despite ranking 25th in yards per rush (thanks skylar for that ranking even!)
3. Ertz is the number 1 qb for rb rating (mayfield 2nd for anybody trying to argue he's 4th best qb in big12)
4. for defense, K-State ranks 56th in yards per play allowed. (not ideal playing an FCS)
5. including 81st in yards per rush allowed
6. 75th in penalty yards per game, tied for 55th in total penalties per game. This continues a downward trend from last year. The precision on penalty prevention seems to not be a point of emphasis anymore
7. T1st in turnover margine.... including with Tamu (just another chance to laugh at tamu)
