He made the cut ON THE LINE (+3), and was way back going into today's round. (Remember, this is the Top 100 in FedEx points, so competition is fierce. Rory, for example, did NOT make the cut.)
He's -1 on today's round through 7 holes today, and was in trouble on 17 (he started on the back), but just hit a long bunker shot to 4 feet, so hopefully he can save par here.
Playing in light steady rain today.
Needs to stay in the Top 70 to play next week, and that looks perfectly safe (he's projected to drop from 51 to 57 if standings hold).
