Chatted with Evan Beucler today at the baseball game. I rarely have these conversations and when I do I rarely post anything about them. I felt that he wanted the K-State Fan Base to hear it and that is why I am posting it.
We were talking about baseball but the conversation was changed to basketball by a third party. He said that certain players never really bought in and now they are gone. He stood up for Coach Weber and said those players had every opportunity to buy into the system. He is not on scholarship currently but thought there was a possibility of it happening.
He made it very clear he wasn't going anywhere and that they were going to put a lot of work in over the summer.
My opinion about the program hasn't really changed (Bruce recruited the 4 guys that never bought in) but I feel it is important to pass on information. Evan was strongly backing Bruce Weber and not the mutineers.

I told him how cool I thought the basketball training facility was and he immediately responded with "Nebraska's is nicer".
I thought it was kinda funny.
