I'm convinced the game of basketball has changed and I was too busy watching to recognize it.
We're now watching a game where anyone, regardless how talented and well coached, can lose by 20. Look at all the highly ranked teams that have this season. We're also now watching a game where 20 point comebacks in a half are commonplace.
Earlier this season I was disappointed in HCBW because we had some similar losses. I didn't understand (being serious) this was simply the evolution of the game.
Meanwhile, ESPN talking heads are telling us no one wants to watch defensive basketball. I, for one, disagree.
I'll never judge anyone's coaching ability based on lopsided losses again, that's for sure.
