While I find it highly entertaining to watch the GOP see who can out-ignorant and out-racist the other to gain the vote of the far right, it's also extremely sad to see a potential leader of the free world take such antithetical views to the foundations of the country they are trying to lead. The latest iteration of this is Carson's idiotic comments that Muslim views are not in line with US ideals. He then takes the logically broken position that a person's faith should not matter for the position of President unless that faith is Islam.
