Tim Verghese of our Nebraska site just reported (and I can confirm) that North Dakota State RB Char'Mar Brown is set to visit K-State later this week after he takes trips to Nebraska and California. He also visited Miami earlier.
Brown, a native of Omaha, Neb., rushed for 1,181 yards and 15 touchdowns last season and is one of the top running backs on the market. Getting him on campus is the first step, but my understanding is that it will be difficult to pry him away from those other schools. Miami sources have indicated they're selling Brown on a major role within the offense, and a school like California desperately needs another running back after multiple portal entries. K-State needs RB depth after a Gabe Ervin injury which could be season-ending.
